Square sterling silver earrings with inlayed mokume gane (layered silver and copper).

Available in 2 different sizes: 7x7mm // 1/4”x 1/4” or 10x10mm // 3/8”x 3/8”

Mokume Gane translates from the Japanese as ‘wood grain metal’. Mokume consists of metal sheets made into laminated blocks through fusion. Then it is forged and rolled through a rolling mill, filed, drilled and rolled out again until we have a thin sheet with a variety of patterns.

Because of the nature of mokume the pattern varies, so each pair of earrings is unique.

These earrings are also available with embossed 14k gold fill, brass inlay and as studs. Please contact us.
