Mokume Earrings Copper Brass / C90

Leaf shaped mokume earrings made with copper and brass. 

The hooks are made with sterling silver and you can close them behind your ear to prevent losing the earrings.

Mokume Gane translates from the Japanese as ‘wood grain metal’. Mokume consists of metal sheets made into laminated blocks through fusion. Then it is forged and rolled through a rolling mill, filed, drilled and rolled out again until we have a thin sheet with a variety of patterns. The mokume in these earrings are made with layers of brass and copper.
